Libby was a 10-year-old girl who had always loved horses. She had a particular soft spot for ponies with unique features, and that’s why she was so excited to loan Lucky. Lucky was a stunning white and brown cob with a pink nose. His mane had tight braids down to his chest, which Libby adored brushing out before their rides.
Libby was just as striking as Lucky. She wore a helmet with a baby blue cover, a red wine Le Meuix jacket, and black jodhpurs. She loved to look the part, just like Lucky, who always stood tall and proud when he saw Libby coming.
Every day, Libby would visit the stables to take care of Lucky. She enjoyed mucking out his stall and grooming his coat until it shone. Libby would then saddle up Lucky and take him for a ride in both the indoor and outdoor arenas.
As they rode, Libby and Lucky developed an unbreakable bond. Libby would whisper sweet nothings in Lucky’s ear, and Lucky would nuzzle her neck in response. They were the perfect duo.
One day, as they were cantering around the outdoor arena, Lucky suddenly changed direction and started heading towards the fence. Luckily, Lucky stopped to nibble on some grass, but Libby was thrown from the saddle and hit the fence hard.
Even though she was in pain, Libby was still grateful for the time she had with Lucky. However, when the owner of Lucky cancelled their loan agreement, Libby was devastated. She missed the bond she shared with Lucky, and she couldn’t help but feel like it was her fault.
Despite this setback, Libby never lost her love for horses. She continued to visit the stables and ride other ponies, but none of them ever quite measured up to Lucky. In her heart, Lucky would always be her first love, and she knew that one day, she would find another pony just as special as he was.
